Early C18 with early C19 addition and circa 1860s remodelling. Main later
section 2 storeys, coursed lias rubble with freestone quoins and dressings.
Hipped slate roof with end ashlar chimneys. Three windows on first floor,
outer modern casements, centre a sash with late glazing. On the ground
floor are outer angled bays with angle pilasters and marginally glazed
sash windows above panels. Arched central entrance with central door
and radiating fanlight. Three storey set back wing to west, 2 windows,
glazing bar sashes, coped verge and saddlestone. Central chamfered doorway
on ground floor with cambered head and bracketted hood and with flanking
2-light ovolo mullion windows (replacements probably). Two storey one
bay wing to east with black slag quoins and 3-light flat mullion casement
window with cornice (links with earlier 3 storey section).
