Late C18, incorporating earlier structures. The house is 3 storeys, rubble.
Slate roof with coped verges and stunted chimneys. Five windows in raised
flat surrounds with edge-mouldings, glazing bar sashes, casements on ground
floor, (left hand range blind). Entrance to side in long 2 storey 5 bay extension,
wide modern porch, segmental modern archway, 3 bay window-and-door arrangement
with Tudor arch and richly carved Victorian door. The rear extension is earlier
C18 in appearance, rubble with pantile roof, 3 windows retain mullions, 2 of
the doors were formerly mullion windows, others modernised coped verge and
gable end granary steps. A good group in a prominent position.
