Built 1903, by Sir William Shipley. Interior refurbished after fire in 1910.
Tall 3 storey ashlar front with slight Jacobean detail. Deep frieze, cornice,
parapet with swept coping and tapered square finials. Stone mullioned transomed
tall windows, 5 lights in centre, 2 lights to sides. Broad entrance and glazed
canopy on east iron columns over pavement.
