2/19 Bridge House

6.2.81 II

Large house, now private nursing home. Early C19, extended late C19,
altered C20. Stucco with strings at floor levels. Slate hipped roof.
Irregular plan, service wing on east. West front: 3 storeys, 4 large
chimneys irregularly spaced. 2 full height segmental bows, each with 3
bays of sash windows with glazing bars in moulded architrave surrounds.
The ground floor covered by a continuous wood lattice verandah with
curved lead roof.
