Former hall house with large rear extension, now 3 houses. C15 altered
C17 and C20, extended early C19. Part timber frame partly faced with
painted roughcast and part painted brick infil, part brick at rear. Old
tile gabled roof. L-plan with 2 timber framed bays on south facing road,
originally jettied; 2 storeys refronted with roughcast on brick and 4, C20
3-light casements. C20 entrance door on side. Long 2 storey extension at
rear with 6 irregular bays of early Cl9 sash windows with glazing bars
facing west and 2 entrance doors irregularly spaced at ground moor. Interior:
in front part a good quality timber frame exposed with heavy jowl posts and 2
large studs on first floor with original painted decoration in the form of a
leaf pattern.
