5/55 The Manse and attached Baptist

Redundant Baptist chapel and attached manse. Early C19. Ashlar
and dressed limestone, Welsh slate roof, brick stack to left. 2-
storey, 3-window manse has central 6-panelled door with 2-light
casement either side. First floor has three 2-light casements,
all in moulded architraves. Roof has coped verges. Rear has
outshut with planked door and 2-light casements. Chapel has two
pointed windows with plain glazing bars to front and rear, entrance
on right return has Tudor-arched porch door with ledged door, two
blocked pointed windows.
Interior of manse has 6-panelled doors, classical fireplace, stairs
with stick balusters and internal shutters. Chapel has panelled
gallery over entrance, with turned balusters, 6-panelled doors and
reading desk.
