House, now 2 cottages. Late C17 - early C18. Whitewashed rubble with
ashlar dressings, stone slate roof. 2 storeys with rear outshut, 6 first-
floor windows. Chamfered quoins. In bay 3, part-glazed door in eared
architrave with a face mask and festoons on lintel; in bay 6, part-glazed
door with pointed panels under stone lintel. Ground-floor windows: 2-light
casements in eared and shouldered architraves, with panelled flush mullions
and with a face mask and festoons on each lintel. Moulded string course.
First-floor windows: in bays 3 and 5 an oculus in ashlar surround; in bays
1, 2, and 4 side-sliding sashes; in bay 6 a casement window. Kneelers with
grotesque heads, ashlar coping to left. Brick stacks between bays 1 and 2
and 5 and 6.
