House. Dated 1732. Rubble, Welsh slate roof. 3 storeys, 3 bays. Central
6-panel door below fanlight in fine doorcase with panelled pilasters on tall
plinths with fluted capitals and moulded round arch with keystone inscribed
M
"R P". Windows originally had flush mullions with ovolo arrises. Ground

and first floors: 10-pane sashes in originally 3-light surrounds. Second
floor: side-sliding sashes in shorter originally 2-light surrounds. Shaped
kneelers, ashlar copings. Brick end stacks. Interior: 3-panel doors, and
moulded jambs of kitchen fireplace. At one time an inn called the Farmers'
Arms, with a dance-floor in the large loft, to which the old stairs went
right up.
