Guide stone. Early C18. Sandstone. Stone approximately 500mm high, shaft square in
plan, square head slightly larger, with a hole in the top surface. Bench mark on south
of shaft. Inscription "Middleham" on east side of head, "Askrigg" on north side,
"HAWES" on west side.
