Detached cottage. Late C17, small addition probably C18. Dressed
limestone, thatched roof with half-hip to left and brick stack to
right, C18 bay in Flemish bond brick with fishscale tiled roof.
Single-storey and attic, 2 windows. Planked door in chamfered
stone surround with C19 tiled canopy to left of centre, 2-light
leaded casement to left and 3-light casement to right, attic has
two eyebrow dormers with 2-light and 3-light casements. C18
addition to right, now kitchen, has 2-light casements and planked
door. Rear has 2-light and single-light casement to ground floor.
Interior has chamfered beams with runout stops, unheated parlour at
south end with renewed stairs in original corner position, cupboard
with shaped shelves below stairs, planked doors. North room has
open fireplace with cambered chamfered lintel with ogee stops on
stone jambs.
