GV II
Bridge. Probably late C17 with late C18 rebuilding. Rubble. 2 segmental
arches, one normally dry. Main arch has longer span and has been widened
downstream. Slab hoodmoulds. Added pilaster buttress between the arches on
the downstream side. Dressed stone coping of segmental section. Parapets
terminate in bollards at northern end of bridge. The bridge was on an
important route when lead was extensively mined in this valley.
