House, late C17th. Sandstone rubble with stone slate roof. 3-cell
plan. 2 storeys, 4 bays. Windows mullioned with inner hollow chamfer,
outer chamfer, and hoods. In the left-hand bay they are of 3 lights,
the flat floor window having no hood. In the 2nd bay they are of 5
lights on the ground floor and 4 lights with no hood on the 1st floor.
In the 3rd bay there is a 2-light window on the ground floor and a one-light
chamfered window on the 1st floor. The right-hand bay has a 5-light
window on each floor. To the right of the left-hand bay is a narrow
chamfered doorway. Chimneys on gables and to right of 3rd bay. The
right-hand (east) gable has a chamfered one-light window, and a door
with chamfered stone surround of C19th type. To its right, lighting
an original outshut against part of the north wall, is a 2-light window
on each floor, the ground-floor one restored. At the rear, immediately
to the west of the outshut, is a chamfered doorway with Tudor-arched
head. Interior not accessible at time of survey.
