Farmhouse. C17, refronted early C19. Squared coursed limestone
rubble to sides, ashlar front and dressings, Collyweston slate
roof, having hip to left with to right a raised stone coped gable
with single moulded stone ridge and wall stacks. T-plan. 2
storey, 4 bay front, the right hand end bay is advanced and
separately gabled. Off-centre 6 panelled door with ashlar
surround and brackets supporting a narrow moulded hood. Flanked
by single tripartite glazing bar sashes and to first floor are 2
similar windows flanking a glazing bar sash. The windows have
slightly advanced plain ashlar surrounds. To rear is a 2 storey
service range under slate and pantile roofs having 2 brick
stacks. To the rear a partly blocked 4 light cavetto moulded
mullion window. Interior has moulded and stopped beams and
inglenook fireplace and reset 4 centred arched doorway. To the
right of the main front a C17 stable block, altered late C18,
with steeply pitched pantile roof, single storey, 3 bay front
having central planked stable door, flanked by single 2 light
shuttered openings. All openings have segmental heads.
