Farmhouse, c1830 with late C17/early C18 origins. Slobbered rubble, stone
dressings, slate hipped roof. Formerly central staircase plan. 2 storeys,
3 bays. Central entrance has Tuscan engaged pillars, open pediment; 8 panel
door, round headed fanlight with intersecting tracery. 2 ground floor and 3
upper floor windows have plain surrounds, 16 pane sashes. Projecting quoins.
Moulded eaves cornice, central ridge stack. Right-hand return includes early
C18 entrance with moulded surround now partly blocked to form window; C20 casements.
3 ground floor late C17/ early C18 cross windows with 4 and 6 pane casements
and fixed lights. 2 similar upper floor windows, and third window with 3 lights
and a transom. Interior: repositioned late C17/early C18 dog-leg staircase,
closed string, turned balusters, ball finial to newel post.
