Stables. Late C18. Coursed squared stone with ashlar dressings, graduated
stone slate roof. L-shape in plan. West front: 6 bays, central 2 bays
breaking forward of 2 storeys, outer bays 1 storey. Outer bays have round-
arched doorways with board doors and fanlights. Bay 5 has round-arched
window. Bays 2, 3 and 4 have round-arched carriage doorways with board
doors and fanlights. All have keystones. Impost and first-floor band. Two
unequally-hung 15-pane sashes with keyed lintels and projecting sills.
Central bays have pyramidal roof with end stack to right. Left-hand bays
have roof hipped to left. North wing, projecting on left: 2 storeys, 5
bays. Ground floor: round-arched openings with fanlights and keystones;
board doors between bays 1 and 2, 2 and 3, 4 and 5; 6-pane sashes. First
floor: unequally-hung 9-pane sashes with sills. Roof hipped.
