Hotel. Late C18 - early C19, with mid-late C19 additions and alterations.
Gritstone rubble rendered on front, graduated stone slate roof. Quoins. 3
storeys, 3 bays with added projecting lean-to entrance bay to right. Main
facade: C20 door to right of centre in plain surround with added flat hood
on stone brackets. A 2-light flat-faced mullion window to left, a single-
light window to right, both with top-hinged C20 casements, 3 plate-glass
sashes in plain surrounds to first floor, 4 square windows to second floor.
Moulded kneelers, gable copings, corniced end stacks. The added lean-to
entrance bay has a C20 door in plain surround and a sash window as main
front. Interior not inspected at resurvey. Similar in character to 8/32,
Nos. 7 and 8 The Square.
