Farmhouse, later C17. Rubble with stone slate roof. Substantial house planned
around central stack. Three storeys and 3 x 1 bays. Central 3-storey porch.
Doorway with moulded jambs and elliptical head. To either side of porch on each
floor, and in it above ground floor, are 3-light double chamfered stone mullion
windows. In gable of porch is an illegible plaque. To right-hand gable are
similar windows, one to each storey, of 5, 5 and 4 lights. At rear one small
2-light window.
Interior: Fireplaces altered or blocked although the outline of one may be traced
on north side of stack at first floor. Roof has 4 heavy trusses with angle struts,
2 supported on short wall posts from corbels. Only one retains a king post;
the rest have king blocks which may have been posts.
