GV II*
Parish church, west tower, C12, nave and chancel probably C16, with south aisle
probably rebuilt and porch added 1769. Rubble to tower, dressed stone to remainder.
Slate roof. Tower is very plain with low battlements. Very small round-headed
windows near ground and small 2-light belfry openings. The remaining windows
are straight-headed with 3 round-arched lights each, except for the east window
which is arched and of 3 lights. The masonry of the south aisle is more regular
than of the other walls, as is that of the Classical porch. This has a pediment
interrupted by a round-arched doorway with impost blocks and triple keystone.
Porch protects an unmoulded pointed-arched inner doorway with Gothick door.
