Walls, gates and piers. c1883. Scammell & Collier of Leeds. Sandstone
ashlar and wrough-iron. 3 metre wall to left and 15 metre wall to right
with gates and piers between. Piers and gates as those to Enquiries
office (qv) but with 'J. SMITH THE BREWERY' to overthrow. Plinth to walls.
Pedimented pedestrian opening in wall to left with wrough-iron gate with
2 levels of bars with lance heads and monogram 'J S'. Wall to right has
7 blind openings. Coping to both walls.
