ENGINEER. / T. B. NELSON, ESQ. / JOHN BUTLER, ESQ. / CONTRACTORS.' on
central plaques to either side. Iron with timber cutwaters to central
piers and gallery. 5 bays of segmental-arched girders with lattice work
and railings between forming parapet supporting horizontal girders at
road level. Base of iron lamp between second and third bays, tow path
gate between fourth and fifth. Central bay of greatest height and span
opens by revolving on large disc supported by 8 columns. To either end
of open span are iron lamps on wooden buttressing.
