3 houses. c1600 with later alterations. Rendered and
colourwashed timber frame. Roof of late C20 concrete
corrugated tiles (front) and slate (rear).
2 storeys. 3-window range. Late C18 4-panelled door to left
(No.38), doors to Nos 34 and 36 late C20. Timber doorcases
with hoods on pilasters. Central 6/6 unhorned sash set within
flush frame. Remaining 2 ground-floor windows are late C20
casements. Central 2-light C19 first-floor casement, one late
C20 casement right and left. Gabled roof. Ridge stack right of
centre and internal gable-end stack to east. Rear with
full-length 2-storey C19 outshut of clay lump clad with mid
C19 painted brick. C20 fenestration.
INTERIOR: frame of moderate scantling. Jowled principal, tie
beams and a clasped purlin roof with undiminished principals.
Early C19 stick-baluster staircase to No.36 not in situ.
