Shop, flat and house. Early C19, with datestone of 1909 relating to
recessed extension to right. Dressed sandstone; pantile roof; brick stacks.
Corner site. 3-storeys,4 windows in all. Curved angle contains half-
glazed, double shop doors under rectangular divided fanlight. Shop window
flanking shop doors have pilaster and cornice surrounds, and slender shaped
glazing bars. C20 door to flat at end left with tripartite sash window with
glazing bars to right. House doorway to right of shop front removed to
recessed extension to right: half-glazed, panelled door in pilastered
doorcase with a dentilled cornice on brackets. Original door opening
blocked with a 16-pane sash, with a decorated and dated lintel above. Bow
window with sashes and glazing bars to right. First floor windows are
12- and 16-pane sashes under heavy, plain lintels. That above shop door is
of 20 panes, curved on plan. Second floor has small unequal sashes with
glazing bars. 4 ridge stacks.
