Wall, probably C18, with entrances. Coursed squared sandstone, wood. Roughly
rectangular plan, extended at north-east corner, surrounding the old church-
yard. Wall has sloped coping. At south-east corner double and single wood
gates, on monolith stone plain piers, with lengths of wood fence at either
side. On fence to west of gate a plaque: 'Captain James Cook attended this
Church. The Churchyard contains the grave of his mother and several of his
sisters and brothers'.
