Farmbuildings and stables. Early C18 with C19 and C20 alterations. Brick with
ashlar dressings. Pantile and C20 metal sheet roofs, with ashlar coped gables with
kneelers. Moulded brick eaves 4 ranges around a courtyard. Main, south west front,
2 storey, with central round arched ashlar entrance with double plank doors, to the
left an ashlar doorway and beyond an inserted doorway with double flank doors. To
the right a central plank doorway and overlight in ashlar surround flanked by single
glazing bar windows. Above 4 shuttered loft openings. This range is topped by an
octagonal wooden cupola with bell canted lead dome and weather vane. South east
front has 2 storey gabled bay to south with a single doorway with segment headed
ashlar surround, and above a loft taking-in door. Beyond to the east a lower
2 storey range with a central glazing bar casement flanked by single stable doors
with ashlar surrounds, that to the left partly rebuilt in brick, flanked by single
glazing bar casements. Above 2 small shuttered loft openings. North east range has
2 storey gabled bay to south with a single glazing bar casement and above a central
glazing bar window in ashlar surround. Beyond to the north 2 stable doors with
ashlar lintels. North west range has attached outbuildings.
