It shall be noted that this building was first listed on the 20th
June 1966.
N.B. This building and the barn adjoining were deleted on the 5th
December 1986 in error. At that time only the barn adjoining
Laureldene on Main Street, Thornton Le Moor should have been
removed from the list.

House. Late C18. Red brick in Flemish bond, ashlar dressings, graduated
stone slate roof. 2 storeys, 5 bays. Plinth. Central 6-panel door and
fanlight with radiating glazing bars, in moulded architrave on plinths which
has reeded frieze with central paterae and dentilled cornice. All windows
are sashes with glazing bars with flat brick arches. Continuous sill bands
to both floors. Moulded stone cornice. Coping. Corniced end stacks and
one to ridge between bays 2 and 3.
