Pub. Second half of C18 with early-mid C19 addition and later
alterations. Coursed squared herringbone-tooled stone; C20
composition tiles to roof with stone coping and ridge; stone stacks.
2 storeys, 3 bays, with 2-bay addition on right. Older part has
two late C20 panelled doors, on right of 2nd bay and at right end,
the latter an insertion and having 4-pane overlight. 3-light
windows, having small-pane side-sliding sashes to two left-hand
bays on ground floor; extensive late-C20 small-pane windows.
Openings, other than inserted door have long lintels with tall
raised kneelers and the windows projecting sills. 2 pub signs on
1st floor. Addition has a C20 small-pane window and a 12-pane sash
to ground floor, and on 1st floor two 3-light small-pane windows.
Continuous eaves band. Shaped kneelers at ends. Shouldered stacks
at ends and two to ridge. C20 rear additions not of special interest.
Right return has stone steps up to lst-floor doorway with tripartii
lintels and a small windows to right on each floor.
