Two houses, now shop. Early C18 and early C19 with later alterations. Front facade
stucco with painted stone dressings, rear range of red brick; pantile and concrete
tile roofs. Three storeys, 3 bays to early C19 front facade with early C18 range
to rear. Main front has early C20 shop front across full width of ground floor.
Above central bay has semi-circular headed recess through two floors, with sill
band of second floor windows acting as impost band. First floor has semi-circular
headed 12-pane sashes with radial glazing to heads to either side of central,
pedimented tripartite window with 12-pane sash flanked by 4-pane sashes, and moulded
cornice with central pediment. Above three 6-pane sashes. Moulded eaves band,
plain frieze and moulded cornice with blocking course. Rear range has side
elevation to alley with rendered ground floor, 3-light timber cross mullion window
to first floor and similar window above, both below segmental brick arches.
Dentilled eaves and large central ridge stack to steeply pitched concrete tiled
roof with stone copings. Gable end has two first-floor sashes and two blocked second
floor openings all below segmental arches.
