Two houses, now shops. Early C19. Flemish bond brick, stone slate roof.
3 storeys, 5 bays. To left of centre a pair of C19 panelled doors in
wooden architrave with fluted frieze and cornice. To right a later C19
shop front with wood surround, cased blind and shallow pedimented head.
To left a C20 shop front, fully glazed with recessed central door. 4
windows to each upper floor, all with projecting stone sills and gauged-
brick flat arches. Bays 4 and 5 on the second floor retain unequal 9-pane
sashes, otherwise altered sashes and casements. Central bay has round-
headed blind opening on each upper floor. Stone dentil course at eaves,
plain brick end stacks. Rear: a half basement gives a 4-storey elevation,
original fenestration with 3-light casements with glazing bars under segmental
arches. Tall central stair windows.
