Formerly part of farmstead known as Holme Bank Farm. Late C17 or early C18 range
of barn and house with circa 1800 cottage (No 18). The barn is dry stone walled with
flush quoins, stone slate roof. Roof structure consisting of King post trusses.
The cottage at north end is of 2 storeys, sandstone "brick" with stone slate roof.
Single and 3 light square mullion windows in squared surrounds. Squared jamb
doorway. The older No 20 is of coursed gritstone with stone slate roof. First
floor has 4 light chamfered mullion window. Late C18 three light square mullion
window on ground floor and blocked window to left. The east gable end presents a
broad 3 window elevation refaced in sandstone "brick". Circa 1840-50. Two light
square mullion windows in gable, otherwise sash windows. Pilastered doorway.
