Built in 1635 (dated lintel). A 2-storey substantially built coursed gritstone
yeoman's house. Large quoins. Stone slate roof. Four and 6 light chamfered
mullion windows, squat and set under eaves on first floor, in splayed stepped
reveals; with dropped drip moulds on ground floor. Principal front to south-
west, late C18 or early C19 plain ashlar doorway with cornice. Original doorway,
altered to windows, has dated lintel. North front has some early C19 alterations.
The interior has boxed beams and rendering of some stud partitions. Panelled
living room incorporating C17 work but most of it C19.
