Large barn approximately 20 metres to south east of Upper Quick Stavers Farmhouse

Barn. Late C18. Coursed squared stone, stone slate roof. 3 bays. Central round-
arched cart-entry with skewbacks and window above with tie-stones to jam.bs. To
left end a doorway with window adjacent on right, the surround of large blocks and
with tie-stones. To right end a blocked doorway, now window, under reused Tudor-
arched lintel with sunk spandrels; to its left a window with reused double-chamfered
lintel. c1980 garage added on right not of special interest. Rear : blocked
threshing door with chamfered-headed narrow light above; a chamfered window on right
and another window on left; straight joint between right-hand bay and the rest.
Right return: round-arched owl-hole in gable. Interior: two Cl9 soft wood queen-
pos trusses with angle struts.
