Town house now various commercial premises. c1700, altered. Cement
rendered, pantile and Welsh slate roofs. L-shaped plan: 2 storeys, 5 windows
to 1st floor facing High Street, 4 windows on right return. Rusticated
quoins. Altered ground floor with C20 shop fronts. Remains of lst-floor
band to No 41 on left which has a 16-pane sash with projecting stone sill.
Two similar sashes to right have raised keystones whilst remaining windows
are all C20 casements without stone sills or keystones. Cemented eaves
cornice. Right end of roof is hipped; ridge stack on left. Formerly an inn
known as The White Hart and one of the few buildings in Wetherby which
appears to pre-date the fire of 1723 which destroyed over half the the town s
property.
