Small industrial building. Early C19. Coursed squared stone. Stone slate roof (bitumen covered). Two storeys. Three bays. Entrance to right; large windows in stone surrounds with tripartite casements of eight panes. Truncated stack to left. Rear: similar to front but the window openings do not have stone jambs. Left gable: two windows to each floor with fixed lights, sixteen-pane to ground floor, thirty-pane to first.

Interior: not inspected.

The building was formerly used as the Town School, and later, the Parish Church Hall. Included for group value.
