House. Early C18. Rendered walls. Stone slate roof Two storeys. 3 bays. Entrance to right with C20 door but possibly original surround. Doorway to left formerly 3-light double chamfered window. Altered central window. Two 3-light, and one 2-light double chamfered window to 1st floor (some mullions missing) now with C19 sashes. Central brick stack. C19 or C20 addition or rebuild to right not of special interest. One altered 2-light double chamfered window to left return. Other windows of late C19 or C20. Interior: not inspected. The building was formerly used as the Town School which is recorded in 1708. Included for group value. C.Cudworth. Photographs of Old Horbury. 1973.
