2 cottages, now one. C16, altered and extended early and mid C20. Part timber
frame with painted brick infill, part painted brick. Long old tile gabled roof.
Rectangular plan originally 2 framed bays, now with extensions on each end.
2 storeys. One chimney on ridge and one on right. Mostly C20 leaded casement
windows. Entrance (east) front: irregular. Old centre part has old windows;
4-light on first floor at left, 2-light oriel on right, 3-light on left of
ground floor, a lean-to C20 entrance porch to right of this with plank door and
a 2-light window; to right of porch a 3-light window. Right hand end has a 3-
light window on both floors. Left hand end has a one and 2-light window first
floor, two 2-light windows on ground floor. INTERIOR: inglenook fireplace with
bread oven. Principal beam in dining room has chamfers and bar stops with
squints. Queen post roof with clasped purlins.
