25.3.55 Dovecote at Ockwells Manor

Dovecote. Late C15. Brick, with stone buttresses and dressings. Old tile conical roof with open
turret and weathervane on top. Circular plan. Four, 2-stage weathered buttresses of stone and
brick. One 2-light leaded casement with brick relieving arch and keystone on south east. Old
plank door facing south west in chamfered ashlar stone surround. Interior: boarded floor half way
up, reached by a plain wooden stair.
