Detached house. Probably C17 with C19 alterations. Coursed rubble with flush
rusticated dressed stone quoins and ashlar dressings to doorway, wooden lintels
and double Roman tile roof. 2 storeys and attic, 3-window south front. C19
casements throughout, those to the upper 2 storeys in original openings. Attic
windows in 3 gabled dormers. Central C19 Tudor-arched doorway with hoodmould and
block stops leading to porch and 4-panel C19 door with the top 2 panels glazed.
3 brick ridge stacks. Lean-to outshuts to left and right hand and further
extension to the rear. Interior. Inaccessible. Mill House makes an
important visual contribution to the villagescape with the Masonic Lodge (q.v.) and
Gauge House (q.v.).
