Originally rectory, now farmhouse, circa C17, altered in C19 and eaves and ridge
heightened in C20 to rear. Rubble stone with some granite dressings. Patent
tiled roof (was thatched). 2 brick stacks in front south slope at gable ends.
2 storeys, asymmetrical. 4 window front. Ground floor with two 2-light
horizontal sliding sash windows to the left of the timber planked entrance door
and a 3-light horizontal sliding sash window to the right. On the first floor,
above the ground floor openings, from left to right, 1 triple 18-pane horizontal
sliding sash window, two 2-light horizontal sliding sash windows and one 3-light
casement window. All windows with glazing bars. Garage under asbestos slate
roof on the left-hand gable. Large fireplace on right-hand side, with chamfered
timber lintels and run-out stops. Small bread oven on right. Smaller fireplace
on left-hand side with canted chamfered lintel. First floor not inspected.
