Parish church, now redundant and ruinous. Chancel possibly circa C13. Tower
circa late C14. South arcade circa early C15 and north arcade slightly later.
Porch circa late C15. Remodelled in 1866-7 when the aisles were removed and the
arcades walled up. Porch moved. Rubble stone with large ashlar blocks of
serpentine and granite in tower. Roofs now gone. East window, 3-light, C19
plate tracery. North wall of nave walled up. South wall with three 2-light
windows with trefoils above. Under 3-centred arches. Reset. South door under
moulded 3-centred arch with carved spandrels. Gabled porch with octagonal
engaged shafts with cusped blind tracery (similar to Mullion Church). Carved
capitals eroded. Moulded, 3-centred arch. Unbuttressed battlemented west tower
with crocketted pinnacles. 2 stairs with bold string courses. West door with
segmental head and chamfered granite jambs. Voussoirs. West window with 3-
light Reticulated tracery under 3-centred arch with banded voussoirs. 2-light
belfry opening with louvres on each face. South arcade, type-A (Pevsner) piers
with low bases and moulded capitals and abaci. Moulded round arches. North
arcade, type-A (Pevsner) piers as on south but with square abaci. Break in
arcade for rood screen. Porphyry coffin lid on tower floor.
