C17 timber-framed, cased in C18 brick, rendered and painted. Old tile roof with
central brick stack. Two storeys. Central door with open tiled porch, 3-light
casement each side, two similar windows to first floor, tucked under eaves. At the
back some exposed timber-framing and a modern wing. Interior: original staircase
behind the central chimney stack which contains what might have been a curing
chamber. Large inglenook fireplace and an apparently C17 door in south door.
Barn attached to north end. Perhaps C18, timber-framed, weatherboarded and
corrugated iron roof. Rough queenpost trusses.
