GV II

Engine house for adjoining underground service railway leading to St Michael's Mount.
Circa 1900. Granite rubble with granite dressings, mostly painted. T-plan slate
roofs.
Plan: T-shaped plan. Single storey plus attic engine house with lower probably
former workshop adjoining the middle of the lower side. Tunnel entrance at rear
right (south of west end).
Exterior : Simple elevations with doorways and windows facing into a courtyard on the
west side. Gabled dormered window lighting first floor on south side. Ledged doors,
casement windows.
