Former barn with shippon under until early C20, then used as boat house for the
Island's barges and now a National Trust recruiting point. C18, remodelled or
rebuilt circa early C20. Rendered walls. Asbestos slate roof with gable ends.
Plan: Long rectangular building with 5 large doorways on the harbour (north) side.
2 storeys. Overall fairly regular 9 window front. C20 ledged doors. C20 12-pane
casement windows.
