8/108 Far Beck Bridge
II
Small road bridge over Lune Head Beck. Probably late C18. Rubble with squared-
boulder coping stones. Both faces similar. Segmental arch with rough projecting
voussoirs. Faces have scattered throughstones. End sections with some later
masonry infill. Rising curved parapet with large coping stones laid alternately
upright and flat to produce an embattled effect. Splayed west end terminated
by roughly-squared boulders. Curving east end terminated by squared caps.
