Inn, mid C18 with early C19 assembly rooms added to north-east.
Painted local brick and white gault brick. Plain tile roof with
parapet gables and original end stacks with red brick
patterning. Slated hipped roof to assembly rooms. Two storeys
and attics, symmetrical three 'bays'. Saw-tooth eaves cornice.
Three casement dormer windows with segmental shaped leaded
roofs. Three first floor, twelve-pane, near flush frame hung
sash windows in segmental arches, reduced from original height.
Two similar windows flank six-panelled C19 door and moulded
doorcase with projecting cornice supported by carved brackets.
