Public house. Late C17/early C18: remodelled in C19 when doorcase and
entry were moved to right gable elevation. Brick, colourwashed, and
pantiled roof. Two storeys, 3 bays. Ground floor: tripartite sash with
glazing bars to left, C20 bow window with glazing bars to centre, C19 canted
bay with sashes with glazing bars to right. First-floor band. First floor:
central blank opening flanked by C20 windows with glazing bars. Stepped and
dentilled brick eaves cornice, end stacks, raised gables. Right gable
elevation: door of 6 raised and fielded panels in late C18 doorcase with
panelled reveals and attached Tuscan columns, frieze with festoons, and
dentilled cornice and pediment.
