House. C17 with roof raised in C19. Exposed and plastered timber-frame,
with red brick nogging. Slate roof. Two storeys, three unit lobby entry
plan. End stack to left hand and red brick ridge stack. One sixteen-paned
hung sash, flush-framed window, and two early C20 brick bay windows with
four-paned hung sashes. Half-glazed door to main entrance. Three first
floor casement windows. Rear wing and barn, weatherboarded with red brick
plinth and slate, thatched, and pantile roof at angle beside the boundary
that followed the ancient strips of the open fields.
