Scout Tunnel north entrance

Tunnel entrance. Between 1794 and 1797. Benjamin Outram
engineer. Hammer-dressed stone. Semi-circular arch with
stone voussoirs (now blocked). Parapet wall is slightly
curved, is terminated in battered square piers and has a
stone band and round-topped coping stones.
