School. 1841 with additions in the later C19 and C20.
Hammer-dressed stone with ashlar dressings and slate roof. 1
storey, 7 x 4 bays with a later wing to the left. Plinth,
quoins and coped gables with kneelers and finials. 3 and 4-
light shouldered-arch chamfered mullion windows with
hoodmoulds. Bays 2 and 6 are gabled, slightly advanced and
have porches with shouldered-arch doorways surmounted by a
sunk panel inscribed "BOYS" and "GIRLS" respectively.
Boarded doors with decorative hinges. Sides have a series of
4 gables. Later wing with tower-like entrance feature with
pilasters and a pyramidal roof.
