Terrace of houses. Early C19 (pre-1840). Rubble, coursed to front; stone
slab roof. 3 Storeys. Regular 7-window range. Wedge lintels except to
ground floor of Nos 18 and 20, all windows with 2-pane horned sashes.
Doorways, round-headed with moulded surrounds (some detail lost); panelled
doors with fanlights, two with fancy glazing bars. Gutter box probably
replaces cornice. Brick ridge stacks except that to No 22 which is of
stone. No 22 is attached to gateway to Stalybridge Corn Mill. Rear
elevation has round-headed stair windows.
