Dovecote, now a dwelling. C.1650 restored mid C20. Red brick, English bond, on
chamfered plinth with cut and moulded brickwork to elaborate cornice. Conical roof
now covered with fishscale pattern slates. Octagonal cupola, timber-framed, each
face with depressed four centred arch. Similar conical roof of patterned slates
surmounted by wood ball finial and wrought iron weathervane. Round plan. Band between
two storeys. c.1980 additions at rear. Front wall, late C17 repaired. Red brick
alternating courses of stretcher bond and Flemish bond. Gabled coping, restored. Wall
originally formed part of the south boundary of the Haslingfield Hall park.
